This course covers terminology, financial statements, budgets and cost control – the essentials if you have budget responsibility or financial oversight.

Understand financial terminology

Recognise the key elements within the Balance Sheet, Income Statement (P&L) and Cash flow statement

Comprehend how financial statements illustrate performance

Appreciate the relationship between profit and cash flow

Analyse financial reports to interpret and assess business performance

Interpret budget information and identify variances

Contribute to decision making for effective financial management

Be more confident dealing with accountants and other specialists
